Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone knows of (or is) a Pagan and poly (or at least clued-in, and friendly) therapist?
I'd sure appreciate any referrals given.
thanks in advance,
Thuri

Re: Pagan and poly therapist?
Sat, March 1, 2008 - 11:48 AMI would recommend looking in the GLBT yellow pages. There are two there, though I cannot speak for the quality, as I have never gone to them in that capacity.
The best thing I can reccomend is to call a few offices and ask. I do know that there is someone with Western Psych and Counseling Services, and I think well of her. She does not advertise as a "Poly" Therapist in any medium I have read; she goes by word of mouth.
I do recommend her.
I believe her name is Christine, and the office does know that she does "Poly therapy," though they do not know what that is. ;)
Hope that helps! -

Re: Pagan and poly therapist?
Wed, March 19, 2008 - 7:48 PMI have a fabulously poly-friendly therapist named Kate McNulty. I'm not sure how pagan she is, but I'm certain that she wouldn't be pagan-unfriendly.
Her website is www.emotionalintelligence.info and she has two offices- downtown portland on 10th and morrison and se 12th and division in the artsy building with the coffee shop outside.
Good luck!

Re: Pagan and poly therapist?
Thu, March 6, 2008 - 5:45 PMI should preface this with the fact that I have never seen Dr. Stem in his official capacity.
That not withstanding, I can personally vouch for his discretion, and his character. Sam is one hell of a good guy.
I would recommend him as an excellent choice, as well as the lady I mentioned above. -
